Black and White Challenge Reveal

BW Badge

Hello friends,

Another fun "challenge and reveal" has come and gone.  For some reason I seem to work well under pressure.  I've had a long dry spell with little to no creative juice. This is why I decided to sign up for this Black and White Challenge and push myself to follow through.  Even though this piece isn't real complicated, I love the outcome.  Although it qualifies as a "choker" it sits very comfortably on the neck.

Recipe:

2  - Donna Millard Lampwork Beads
.
Sterling Silver Findings (to taste)

1 - Copper Washer (enameled black)

16 - Faceted Black Onix Beads

13 - Medium Metal Beads (enameled black and white)

----------------------------------------------

Mix vigorously and connect.

  2. Wow Dee....great job. I haven't had the chance to work with enamel yet, but you did an awesome job. To me it has a very techno look and feel! Thanks for joining, I love doing challenges. Makes me step out of my comfort zone.

  6. Oh my, but this is just beautiful...such gorgeous beads, and I love your clasp!

I had those exact beads of Donna's. I learned the hard way that they cannot be subjected to liver of sulfur, even for a split second. All of the black came off and all 5 beads ...and my completed design...was ruined in amatter of a second. Live and learn!
